By doing so, it shows that miscommunication will cause problems between people unless they open up to each other. Peter is portrayed as an imaginative child but at the same time has a very mature view on things especially towards his father. Being a child, he looks up to his father and respects and tries to understand him. He feels that his father is very mature and wants to be just like him in the future. A perfect example would be when Peter loses the penny his father game him.

How to Write an Analytical Essay
The omniscient narrator serves two important purposes in the story: she allows the reader to have an objective view of the feuding men and also gives voice to the workings of nature in the story. Because neither of the men is the primary narrator though readers meet Ulrich first , it is of little importance who actually has the more legitimate claim to the land. Initially the narrator reveals that the men each view the other as the interloper; neither thinks the other has a legitimate claim to the land. Shortly after reconciling, however, the two men rejoice that there are no others to interfere with their peacemaking.
Comedy is impossible without a little piece of irony. It is not that clear and debauchery. Mark Twain used irony very carefully, trying not to affect the feelings of the reader. Is Satire Early Sarcasm? Perhaps this was a clever move on his part when he involved both, serious and sarcastic tales in his writing.
